East Aurora Country Club is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in East Aurora, New York.
East Aurora Country Club first opened for play in 1916. William Harries and A. Russell Tryon designed nine new holes, which were added in the 1920's.
The course has two distinct personalities. The front nine is hilly. The back nine traversus swampland. It requires physical and mental stamina, from the deep vale off the 1st tee to the ascent around the pond before 18 green. Do not expect the same shot twice, and lies around the greens are rarely on the same level as is the flag, making the flat chip or pitch an anomaly.
Par for the course is 71. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,422 yards. From the forward tees, par is 73 and the course measures 5,299 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 7, a par-5 that plays to 533 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 3, a par-3 that plays to 160 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 12, a 453-yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. This short risk-reward par five plays longer than its number, due to the uphill approach. A creek-like pond bisects the fairway at the dogleg. The elevated green makes distance control a must on any approach shot. The easiest hole at East Aurora Golf Course is # 3, the 160 yard par-3.

Every hole is a challenge. Great layout & condition. Hole #4 is an unfair par3. Great management team.
